Dragon Raja Mobile: Are the new servers worth your time?
So, while playing midnight ghost hunt, one of my friends asked me an unusual question regarding Dragon Raja Mobile.
“Hey are the new servers getting worth into?”
And though the answer was obvious, I decided to dive back in with that friend on a new server.
As we approached the main portion of the game, where the action actually begins, we saw two newcomers who were amiable and chatty.
Of course, there was a good likelihood that they were merely acting as fresh players, but that was unimportant to us, so we added them as friends.
After a short chit chat, we agreed to finish some of the game story by skipping ahead and to gain some experience from the daily activities.
Yes, ignoring the plot and letting our characters run on autopilot was tiresome in and of itself, so we stopped doing that around level 70 and looked into the various options the game provided for boosting our characters' strength in the current iteration.
This is where our disappointment began.
When the game was first launched, there were already a number of pay-to-win features that players had to be aware of in order to increase their strength rating, and there were now even more of them.
However, it was not all; in order to create a guild, you must still perform a recharge, and the same was true for getting good outfits.
Well, my friend was still optimistic, so we decided to find out how often nice weapons are dropped after we defeat a boss.
We got into the matchmaking queue, but there weren't enough people to battle for the boss maps, so we included the two guys we met earlier and started the raid.
And yes, you are correct; even after numerous attempts, we were unable to discover a good weapon. If you pay more, your luck increases, it was probably still the same.
Having said that, the world boss was fun to fight; there were about 40 players involved, and it was a great experience because it brought back memories of the game's earlier, more successful days.
We also enjoyed the world chat and cross-server chat because it was lively with lots of conversation and gave us the impression that the game was still somewhat alive.
However, since there are no longer any YouTube discussions about Dragon Raja and only one or two reviews are posted every four days on the Play Store, it is impossible to tell whether the gamers are new or simply coming from previous servers.
